Crime and Punishment

 7. Crime and Punishment

What is stealing and what are the consequences?

Stealing is not only an illegal action, but also an ethical and moral violation that is based on the unjust deprivation of someone else's property or right.
In legal terms, stealing is defined as the act of taking, carrying, or hiding something that belongs to another person without their consent, with the intention of taking possession of it.

This act can be applied both to physical objects and to intangible goods, as in the case of identity theft or sensitive information.

Currently, stealing can have criminal implications ranging from fines to prison sentences, depending on the severity of the crime.
